How one post got 1,000 comments from people trying to buy (my 5 steps)

The short answer

One reel on my own reselling page got 1,000 comments from people trying to buy, with no ads. Five things made it work: I showed the real work, hooked people in the first second, gave them one word to comment, turned every comment into a DM conversation, and kept posting through two quiet months.

This was my own clothing reselling page, not a client. Over about 3 months of posting every day, that page sold 2,600+ units. Every business is different, so treat these as proof the steps work, not a promise of the same numbers.

Step 1: Show the real work

No studio. Just my inventory, my space, my day. People trust what's real, and a phone video of the actual work beats a polished ad that looks like everyone else's.

Step 2: Hook them in one second

Big text on screen that tells them what's going on before they can scroll. If the first second doesn't say why they should care, most people never see the rest.

Step 3: Give them one word to comment

"Comment BULK." One easy word. Every comment is someone raising their hand to say they want it, and it's far easier than asking people to send a message from scratch.

Step 4: Turn every comment into a conversation

Reply fast and move it to DMs. That's where people actually buy. An automatic DM reply that sends the next step right away keeps nobody waiting, even when you're busy.

Step 5: Keep posting when it's quiet

My views were flat for about 2 months. Then it took off. Most people quit right before that point. The posts you make in the quiet weeks are what the big one is built on.

How a local business can use this

BusinessShow this, then ask for one word
SalonA full color change, start to finish. "Comment BOOK."
RestaurantYour most-ordered dish being made. "Comment MENU."
ContractorA before and after of a real job. "Comment QUOTE."
GymA first-timer's first class. "Comment START."

Same 5 steps every time: real work, a one-second hook, one word, a fast reply, and keep going through the quiet weeks.
