A new customer gives your page 3 seconds. Here's what they see.
The short answer
When someone new lands on your page, they decide in about 3 seconds. In that time they see three things: your photo and name, the first line of your bio, and your top 3 posts. If those make it obvious what you do, where, and how to book, they stay. If not, they leave.
Second 1: your photo and your name
Is it obvious what you do? Use your logo or your face, and a name that says your business. "Glow Studio | Lash and Brow" tells people more than "Glow Studio" on its own.
Second 2: your bio's first line
What you do and where. For example: "Family dentist in Mesa, AZ. New patients welcome." If your first line is a quote or a vibe, they're already gone.
Second 3: your top 3 posts
Pinned posts are the first thing people see. Make them count.
The fix: pin posts that sell
| Most owners pin | Pin this instead |
|---|---|
| A holiday post | Your best result |
| An old sale | A real review |
| A random meme | How to book |
Then test it like a stranger
Open your page on a friend's phone. Would you book? Fix whatever made you pause.
